Unemployment Looms...Adventure Awaits
Hello family, friends, co-workers! The day's here and we're both embarking on our year of travel and adventure! We are so fortunate to be able to do this, and we both wanted to make a space we could share updates, photos, videos, thoughts along our journey. But first some questions: Why are you doing this?! We want to see the world at a slower pace than rushing through a vacation would allow. We're still young, healthy, free from any huge obligations, and most importantly--able to sleep on crummy hostel mattresses. So the time is never perfect to make a change, but, if we waited, "someday" could easily slip away. How are you doing this? Maxing out our credit cards and payday loans, why do you think we're leaving the country? ...Just kidding!!* Actually, It turns out Lindsey and I are both decent at being cheapskates and were able to pay off our college debt and save some money.
